The Marion Police Department’s Narcotics Unit executed two search warrants involving the distribution of heroin and crack cocaine at two different homes on West Boulevard Street Thursday. Police arrested two people on drug-related charges. One of the subjects was also a fugitive wanted for murder by the FBI.
Police executed the first search warrant in the 1300 block on West Boulevard and found 115 grams of crack cocaine, 18 grams of heroin packaged in 26 separate bags, weighing equipment and $8,000 in cash was co-mingled with pre-recorded funds from the Narcotics Unit.
Police cited 32-year-old Kerry L. Jones-Bills for delivery of a controlled substance, possession of crack cocaine with the intent to deliver and possession of heroin with the intent to deliver. He was also arrested for a murder warrant from the FBI related to an incident that occurred in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in September of 2016.
Police executed the second search warrant in the 1400 block of West Boulevard and found heroin, cannabis, drug paraphernalia and ammunition.
Twenty-nine-year-old Antwon Brown was issued citations for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal possession of ammunition.
Both men were processed at the Marion Police Department and later taken to the Williamson County Jail. They are awaiting future court proceedings.
