Crossroads Hospital in Mt. Vernon welcomed a new CEO in December of 2017. Amanda Basso (BASS-OH), who was a guest on the Southern Illinois Insider program on WMIX, has been a nurse for over 25 years and worked her way up through the healthcare ranks into leadership positions as well as most recently the CEO of the Clay County Hospital.
A meet and greet with Basso will be held at Crossroads on January 25th from 4-6pm. Basso says her time as a nurse as fueled her philosophy now in a leadership role.
There are two main areas of Crossroads Basso says she is very proud of and would want everyone to know about and utilize.
Basso replaced Finny Mathew, whose resignation was effective Dec. 15. Mathew was named the president of the Integris Bass Baptist Health Center in Enid, Oklahoma.
