Thanks to a tip, officers from the Saline County Sheriff’s Office and Harrisburg Police Department arrested Wednesday a Harrisburg man wanted on a warrant for two counts of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child.

According to a Saline County Sheriff’s Office press release, officers began looking for 28-year-old Phillip J. “PJ” Hayes and found him around 8:40 Wednesday evening.

Hayes remains in the Saline County Detention Center on $10,000 bond.

On a separate incident, the Saline County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Christopher J. Duncan of Harrisburg Wednesday on a warrant for domestic battery (enhanced).

Duncan remains in the Saline County Detention Center on $1,500 bond.
