A road closure notice for Mount Vernon on Monday, October 16th has been reported to WMIX News. A private contractor will be closing Brownsville Road at Southgate Drive to install a water line for the new duplexes at Southgate Apartments.
Residents are encouraged to use Mockingbird Lane and South 13th Street as detours.
The closure is only expected to last the one day and be from 7am-3pm.
