WASHINGTON COUNTY — A 39-year-old Wayne City man remains in Washington County Jail with bail set at $50,000 on multiple drug and firearms-related charges.

William Crimmins appeared in Washington County Court this week on charges of Class X felony for Possession of between 15 to 100 grams of meth with intend to distribute, Class 1 felony possession of between 15 to 100 grams of meth, Class 2 felony possession of a stolen firearm, Class 3 felony possession of a weapon by a felon, Class 4 felony aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, Class 4 felony obstructing justice, and misdemeanor possession of hypodermic needles.

Court documents also state that he was knowingly in possession of a .40 caliber handgun and knew that the gun was stolen.

Crimmins was convicted in 2008 in Hamilton County and sentenced to 11 years in prison for Class 1 felony possession of anhydrous ammonia with the intent to manufacture methamphetamine.

Crimmins is next due in court October 12 for a status hearing in the Washington County case, with a jury trial on October 23.
