CENTRALIA — A 25-year-old Salem woman was arrested over the weekend after she allegedly fled a traffic stop by Centralia police early Saturday morning.

Blossom Plumb was arrested and cited for alleged possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver, driving under the influence, driving while license suspended, improper display of a license plate, resisting a peace officer, wrong lane usage, and outstanding Christian and St. Clair county warrants.

According to police, around 1:30 a.m., Plumb was driving near 15th and Dover Street in Centralia when she reportedly swerved in front of a squad car.

The officer stopped Plumb’s vehicle but she ran from the scene with the officer briefly pursuing her before taking her into custody.
