MT. VERNON — Two Mt. Vernon teenagers are facing felony charges after allegedly entering a home at Willow Springs in Mt. Vernon on May 10 and robbing someone at gunpoint.

18-year-olds Sharod J. Wilson-Patton and Mikeyle J.K. Johnson are charged with home invasion and armed robbery. The two teens reportedly stole cash and threatened the use of force and allegedly pointed guns at two people inside the home threatening to shoot.

Court reports indicate that the Class X felony charges carry possible sentences of six to 30 years in the department of corrections. If convicted and found to have been armed with a firearm, an additional 15 years could be added to the possible sentence.

The charges were filed on Tuesday.
