(SALEM, IL) — A 54-year-old Kinmundy man has been charged in Marion County court with felony burglary and possession of heroin. Bail for Dennis Lee has been set at $25,000. He was arrested by Kinmundy police for allegedly entering a garage on South Salem Road in Kinmundy and for possession of less than 15 grams of heroin. According to police, they investigated a report of a bow missing from the South Salem Road garage. They say Lee allegedly sold the bow to another man who turned it over to police. After arresting Lee for burglary officers allegedly found a plate with what field tested as heroin in the garage of Lee’s home. He has been formally charged with Class 2 felony burglary and Class 4 felony possession of a controlled substance. He’s scheduled for a June 20 first appearance with his court appointed attorney.
