SANDOVAL — A Centralia woman was arrested Tuesday night after a car accident on Highway 51 near Sandoval that also left her injured. 33-year-old Tina Myers was northbound on Highway 51 north of Sandoval when her SUV left the roadway for a time, came back onto the road sideways and then barrel rolled six times. Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies and Sandoval Police responded to the scene to find the vehicle empty and Myers nowhere to be found in the surrounding area. Deputies later discovered that Myers had offered a driver of one of the vehicles stuck in traffic money to drive her away from the scene. She was found before she was able to escape. Myers was taken to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia for treatment of injuries and later arrested. She was ticketed for improper lane usage, leaving the scene of an accident, and driving on a revoked license.
