Marjorie Ann Hayes, 87, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away at 3:05 P.M. March 22, 2017 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon, Illinois.  She was born November 9, 1929 in Saint Louis, Missouri to parents, Clifford and Beulah (Martin) Hayes.  Marjorie married Tommie Hayes on February 26, 1956 in Mount Vernon, Illinois. They were blessed with 54 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on December 19, 2010. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Newell Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois with Mr. Marty Mills officiating.  Interment will follow at Old Shiloh Cemetery.
