(MT. VERNON, IL) — Authorities with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office have arrested a Wood River man for Aggravated DIscharge of a Firearm at an occupant or vehicle from an incident that took place on February 28th.  Arrested was 47 year old Patrick Gibbs after authorities responded to a report from a person stating that someone with a gun shot at her fiancé in the 19000 block of East Marlow Road in Opdyke.  Gibbs was taken into custody just after 7 a.m. Saturday morning and was transported to the Jefferson County Justice Center, where he awaits the setting of bond and initial court appearance.
