Helen Lucille Teal, 95, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away at 10:25 A.M. March 5, 2017 at her residence in Mount Vernon, Illinois. She was born January 15, 1922 in Buckner, Illinois to parents, Ira Everett and Ethel Lucinda (Hines) Rash.  She married Raleigh Teal on December 16, 1948 in Mount Vernon, Illinois. They were blessed with nearly 57 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on January 24, 2005. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Hughey Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Hunter officiating.  Interment will follow at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens. A Visitation will be held Friday, March 10, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois.  For those who wish, memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society and will be accepted at the funeral home or mailed to Hughey Funeral Home, P.O.
