Muriel Flora (Lies) McConnell, 87 Years, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away at 9:38 A.M. February 23, 2017. She was born July 16, 1929 in Wheaton, Illinois to parents, Leo and Julia (Tremel) Lies. She married Stanley L. McConnell on November 23, 1963 in Oak Park, Illinois. A Visitation will be held Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. until Funeral Service time, 12:00 P.M. at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois with Father Ben Hankinson officiating. A Funeral will start at noon Saturday with interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Mount Vernon.
