(BENTON, IL) — Two men from Franklin County were recently sentenced to 20 years in prison in connection with a home invasion last June in West Frankfort. According to WSIL-TV, 21-year-old Dustin Mandrell of Johnston City and 38-year-old Richard Savage of Christopher broke into a home on West Poplar Street on June 10, robbed a disabled man at knife point and pushed him out of his wheelchair. They took his wallet, car keys and cell phone. Besides the prison sentence, both men will have three years of mandatory supervised release. Another man, Devon Mandrell, is facing time in prison for the crime as well.
