(MT. VERNON, IL) —  Authorities with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office arrested 44 year old William R Miller, of  Mt. Vernon on Sunday.  At approximately 12:11 pm, deputies responded to Rolling Meadows to serve a warrant. A short time after arrival, Deputies located Miller and took him into custody on a Jefferson County Warrant for Unlawful Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. Miller was incarcerated and currently awaits the posting of bond and the setting of his court date. Miller is presumed innocent until proven guilty in the court of law.
