Carolyn “Sue” Metcalf, 73, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away at 7:44 P.M. Friday, January 20, 2017 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon, Illinois. She was born Friday, March 12, 1943 in Marion, Illinois to parents, Leon Hodge and Ella (Howard) Brewer. Sue married Robert G. Metcalf in March of 1983 in Mount Vernon, Illinois. They were blessed with nearly 34 years of marriage.
A Funeral Service will be held at Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois with Mr. Randy Sells officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Mount Vernon, Illinois.
A Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois.
