Jerry Patterson, 73, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away at 6:40 P.M. Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Nature Trail Health Care Center in Mount Vernon, Illinois. He was born Friday, November 26, 1943 in Mount Vernon, Illinois to parents, Andrew Herschel and Bertha I. (Daniels) Patterson. He married Lynette Eldon in 1972. They were blessed with 23 years of married before she preceded him in death on January 19, 1995.

A Funeral Service will be held Sunday, January 15, 2017 at 7:00 P.M. at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois with Reverend Gary Davenport officiating. The Mount Vernon American Legion Post #141 will conduct a Flag Presentation at the beginning of the service.

A Visitation will be held Sunday, January 15, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois.
