Thelma J. Briseacher, 96, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away at 11:19 A.M. Monday, January 2, 2017 at Mount Vernon Countryside Manor in Mount Vernon, Illinois. She was born Saturday, June 12, 1920 in Mount Vernon, Illinois to parents, Frank and Addie (Dixon) Dubois. She married Howard L. Brieseacher on October 12, 1940. They were blessed with nearly 55 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on September 10, 1995. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois with Reverend Victor Long officiating.  Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Mount Vernon, Illinois.
