(NASHVILLE, IL) — A Richview man is in the Washington County Jail after leading authorities on a manhunt yesterday afternoon.  26-year-old Gregory Pocrnich had a warrant from Marion County on meth charges, and when Washington County deputies tried to pull him over yesterday afternoon, he rammed the squad car and led deputies on a short chase.  He eventually abandoned the car and fled on foot, leading to a manhunt that ended when authorities surrounded an abandoned trailer on Hickory and Broadway in Richview.  He was taken into custody without incident around 3:30 p.m. and booked in the Washington County Jail.  Another occupant of the vehicle was taken into custody but is expected to be released.  The Illinois State Police is assisted the sheriff’s office with the investigation, and Pocrnich is likely facing more charges in addition to the original Marion County warrant.
