(MT. VERNON, IL) —  The Mt. Vernon City Council met Monday evening.  At the meeting, a discussion concerning the resolution approving an agreement with Poettker Construction for construction management of the Armory renovation project was presented.  The council agreed to table any decision regarding the agreement until a plan could be redesigned after the public comment period and discussion from council member led to dissatisfaction with the plan presented. Other business included the presentation of the Capital Projects report and approval of consolidated vouchers for accounts payable.
