(Chester, IL)  —  Illinois is remembering a Chester police officer killed in a car crash last week.  All U.S. and state flags have been lowered to half-staff to honor officer James Brockmeyer.  Authorities say his car left the road and flipped over about two miles north of Chester as he was chasing Jason Stoker Friday night.  Stoker remained on the loose until he was taken into custody yesterday in the St. Louis area on charges of aggravated fleeing and eluding a peace officer.  Officials are in the process of bringing Stoker back to Illinois.
