Gertrude “Trudy” Freidinger, 85, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 2:05 A.M., Saturday, October 22, 2016 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon, Illinois. FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Mount Vernon, Illinois, with Reverend Terry Edwards officiating.  Burial will take place at Saint John’s Boyd Cemetery in New Hampton, Indiana.
