MT. VERNON — The City of Mt. Vernon will hold a special City Council Meeting on Monday at 4:30 PM. Items on the agenda include: A resoluation supporting a grant application to the Illinois Housing Development Authority for the Single Family Rehabilitation Program Trust Funds; permission to seek quotes for commercial insurance; and permission to seek proposals for water proofing the City Hall Basement.

The council will meet at the Mt. Vernon City Hall at 1100 Main Street.
