Vernon, IL) – Over $3,200 was raised for the United Way’s 2016 Community Campaign from the United Way Balloon Glow and Agency Fair sponsored by Knapp Propane on Friday night, October 14 and the United Way Pancake Breakfast sponsored by Wilkey’s Café on Saturday, October 15. The “Golden Frying Pan” award was presented to Jamie Pruitt of National Railway Equipment Company and founding member of the United Way’s Women’s Leadership Council. She earned over $77 in tips “selling” her caramel and pecan pancake topping.
