FAYETTE COUNTY –A Brownstown woman was killed in a single vehicle accident on Tuesday morning in rural Fayette County.

Illinois State Police reports indicate that 32-year-old Kelli Ann Powell was was traveling southbound in her Chevrolet Uplander on County Road 1600E when it drove off the roadway to the left and struck a guardrail face then struck a concrete bridge face head-on.  Powell was pronounced deceased on-scene.  The Fayette County Coroner’s Office is assisting the Illinois State Police with the investigation.
