Sharon Gay Hall, 73, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 10:49 A.M., Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at her residence in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Per her request she was cremated and a Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at First Presbyterian Church in Mount Vernon, Illinois, with Reverend Rachel Helgeson officiating.  All are welcome to bring a dish or dessert to share for a salad and dessert dinner following the services.  Inurnment will follow at a later date at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn, Illinois. For those who wish, memorials may be given to Cedarhurst Center for the Arts or the Presbyterian Women in Memory of Sharon Gay Hall and will be accepted at the funeral home or may be mailed to Hughey Funeral Home, P.O.
