(BENTON, IL) — The Franklin County Sheriff’s office has released the name of a Christopher woman whose body was found by a fisherman Thursday afternoon at Rend Lake. Sheriff Don Jones says she is 24-year-old Alicia Rae Anglese. She was found in shallow water near the shore adjacent to the South Marcum boat launch. She was found showing no signs of life. Her vehicle was found further from the shore and completely under water. Jones says her death is believed to be a suicide or accident. However, the investigation continues to rule out foul play. The Franklin County Coroner’s Office has scheduled an autopsy for tomorrow afternoon.
