(BENTON, IL) — A Williamson County man was sentenced Wednesday to a long term in federal prison on heroin charges. Acting U.S. Attorney James Porter says 42-year-old Antoine B. Shaw of Herrin was sentenced to 228 months in prison and five years of supervised release following his time in prison. Shaw had previously pleaded guilty to one count in a federal superseding indictment which charged that from August 2014 until on or about June 5 of last year in Williamson and Franklin Counties, Shaw and others conspired to distribute more than 100 grams of heroin.
