(Bethalto, IL) — The dangers of “sexting” will be the topic of discussion between Madison County states attorneys and middle school students in Bethalto. County attorneys will be at Trimpe Middle School Thursday to give students statistics on teens and sexting and the criminal statutes and penalties associated with sexting and child pornography. For the past two years Madison County officials have been working to be more proactive in talking with kids about important issues such as sexting, human trafficking and the rise in heroin use among young people.
