(SALEM, IL) — Bail has been set at $50,000, for an Iuka woman arrested after Centralia Police responded to a complaint about where the van she was a passenger in was parked. Holly Creamer was formally charged Monday in Marion County Court with Class 1 felony possession of between 15 and 100 grams of methamphetamine. According to police reports, Creamer appeared under the influence when they approached the van and the Centralia K-9 gave a positive alert during a walk around of the van after Creamer refused to allow officers to search the vehicle. A subsequent search of the van reportedly revealed two drug pipes on the passenger side where Creamer was seated, along with a plastic bag containing more than 4 grams of of methamphetamine “ice” in a makeup bag on the center floorboard. A further search of the van resulted in officers reportedly locating another bag containing more than 24 grams of a white substance believed to be meth. A foil package containing a substance believed to have been heroin was allegedly found inside a silver box located in the van, along with a spoon, electronic scale coated with a white powdery substance and a small plastic baggie also containing a substance believed to be heroin. Creamer is next due in court April 5 for a first appearance with court appointed counsel.
