(Venice, IL) — A body recovered from the Mississippi River near Venice, Illinois is being identified as 38-year-old Mickey Heflin. The Madison County Coroner’s Office has classified drowning as the cause of death. Police say there were no obvious signs of foul play when the body was found over the weekend.
