Jerry L. Cooke Sr., 82, of Mt. Vernon passed away Monday morning, March 7, 2016 at his home. Graveside Military Rites will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 12th at the Oakwood Cemetery in Mt. Vernon conducted by Chaplain Ernie Collins and American Legion Post #141. There is No Visitation, those attending the service are requested to meet at the cemetery. The Johnston Funeral Home in Ina is in charge of arrangements.
