(ENERGY, IL) — A Jackson County man was arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop in Energy late Monday night. Energy Police Chief Shawn Ladd says around 11:20, a member of the Energy Police Department’s Drug Interdiction Team stopped 22-year-old Keenan J. Reliford of Carbondale for several motor vehicle violations. When the officer made contact with Reliford, he discovered Reliford was in possession of suspected heroin and cannabis. Reliford was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of cannabis between 2.5 to 10 grams. He is lodged in the Williamson County Jail.
