Conita GaVette, 92, passed away on August 16th. Friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances of Conita during visitation on Saturday August 22nd, 2015, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Johnston Funeral Home, at 102 East 2nd St. in Ina, Illinois. A Celebration of Life service will be officiated by Reverend Steve Hamson at 11 a.m. following visitation. Conita’s final resting place will be at the Shiloh Cemetery in Whittington, immediately following the Celebration of Life service. Cards and letters of condolence may be mailed to Conita’s surviving husband, Gene GaVette, at 1079 E. Wilson St., Apt. #1206, Batavia, Illinois 60510. In lieu of customary remembrances, you may prefer to help continue Conita’s legacy by making memorial contributions in her name to Summersville Baptist Church, 1114 Fairfield Rd., Mt.
