(Okawville, IL) — A construction worker is hurt after being hit by a vehicle while on the job in Washington County. State Police say Jennifer Huels of Carlyle was hit Monday evening by an SUV on an Interstate 64 on-ramp at Okawville. The 33-year-old was on the ground servicing her machinery when the incident happened. She was flown to Saint Louis University Hospital where her condition isn’t known.
