(Edwardsville, IL) — A one-time Edwardsville police dispatcher has been found guilty of felony obstruction charges. A Madison County judge announced the verdict on Tuesday against Keri Knight. Police say she obstructed the investigation into Edwardsville police officer Brian Barker. He was charged in December with a dozen counts of burglary, residential burglary and unlawful possession of a firearm. Meanwhile, Knight was accused of stealing cash linked to the investigation, providing false information and concealing evidence in the case. She could serve up to three years in prison.
