(CARBONDALE, IL) — A Carbondale man was arrested Monday night in connection with a shooting that took place there late Sunday night. Carbondale Police say 21-year-old Quentin M. Bailey was charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm and aggravated battery with a firearm warrant. Shortly after 11 p.m., Police went to Memorial Hospital of Carbondale concerning a report about someone being shot. During their investigation, officers identified Bailey as the suspect. Beside the two charges mentioned, Bailey was also wanted on an Illinois Department of Corrections arrest warrant for violating conditions of his parole. He is lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $1 million bond.
