(Herrin, IL) — A Herrin defense lawyer will run for Williamson County States Attorney next year. Daniel Kay formally announced Wednesday at City Hall that he hopes to replace the retired Chuck Garnati. Currently, Brandon Zanotti is operating as interim states attorney. He will fill the remainder of Garnati’s term. Williamson County’s first primary will take place in March of next year.
