(Carbondale, IL) — Four Southern Illinois University students are homeless after their Carbondale rental house caught fire. The Sunday morning blaze destroyed the home. A large part of the roof collapsed. One firefighter fell and hurt her knee, but was later released from the hospital. Fire officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
