(O’Fallon, IL) — An elderly man is dead after an early Tuesday morning house fire. Metro East officials say flames broke out at a home in O’Fallon, Illinois just after midnight Tuesday. Two people managed to escape, but a third person was trapped on the second floor and died at the scene. An electrical problem is suspected for starting the blaze.
