(SALEM, IL) — Marion County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 21-year-old Alma man over the weekend after they went to a Kinmundy home to question him in another case. Patrick Sisson was arrested and charged with alleged possession of cannabis, possession of a stolen firearm and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies reportedly smelled cannabis when they approached the home, and after asking to search the home, reportedly found several bags of cannabis and a piece of a gun in an area where Sisson had been sleeping. After securing the remaining pieces of the gun, deputies confirmed it had been stolen several weeks ago in a burglary. Sisson was also allegedly found in possession of a drug pipe. He was taken into custody and transported to the Marion County jail.
