Ruth (Frost) Byars, 96, of Mt. Vernon, died Sunday, January 25, 2015, at Countryside Residential Living Center in Mt. Vernon. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at the Panther Fork Missionary Baptist Church in Texico, with the Rev. John Ashby officiating. Burial will be in the Panther Fork Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Osborn Funeral Home in Dix.
