(Dowell, IL) — A bar owner is Jackson County is facing charges after allegedly shooting a gun at one of his patrons. Officials say Van Ray VanZandt chased the man out of his bar in Dowell early yesterday morning. He allegedly shot at the man but missed. There’s no word on what caused the alleged incident. VanZandt was charged with reckless discharge of a firearm.
