MT. VERNON, IL — On Thursday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office along with the Mt. Vernon Police Department reported the following arrests to this Withers Broadcasting/Dana Communications Radio Station;

24-year-old James Powers of Centralia was arrested Wednesday by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office for a Violation of Bail Bond.

59-year-old Earl Morlan of Ina was arrested Wednesday by the JCSO for Violation of Bail Bond.

31-year-old Skylan Richards of Mt. Vernon was arrested Wednesday by the Mt. Vernon Police Department for Possession of Fentanyl and on a Parole Violation.

28-year-old Cody Rector of Mt. Vernon was arrested Wednesday by the JCSO for Possession of Child Pornography & Possession of a Firearm without a Valid FOID.
