MT. VERNON, IL — On Friday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office along with the Mt. Vernon Police Department reported the following arrests to WMIX/WDML News;

21-year-old Bartireedui Batochir of Fort Campbell, KY was arrested Wednesday by the Illinois State Police for Driving 15-20 MPH over the speed limit, Driving on a Suspended License, and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.

20-year-old Jamal Huddleston of Mt. Vernon was arrested Thursday by the Mt. Vernon Police Department for Residential Burglary.

52-year-old Joe Buie of Mt. Vernon was arrested Thursday by the MVPD for Violation of Bail Bond.
