HAMILTON COUNTY, IL — Two McLeansboro residents are facing drug-related charges after the McLeansboro Police Department and Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office served a knock and announce search warrant at a home on Blooming Grove Road in McLeansboro Thursday.

According to a press release from McLeansboro Police, the search warrant was obtained by the McLeansboro Police Department after their investigation revealed illegal narcotics were being sold from the home. Members of the McLeansboro Police Department and Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office were able to secure the home without incident and took 66-year-old Curtis Patterson and 51-year-old Christina Webb both of McLeansboro into custody.

Patterson was transported to the White County Jail and held on charges of Possession of Drug Equipment, Possession of Control Substance, Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver 15–100 grams and Possession of a Firearm by a Felon. Patterson is being held with bond set at $175,000.

Webb was transported to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and faces charges of Possession of Control Substance and Possession of Methamphetamine. Webb posted $2,500 cash bond and was released.

During the search officers located controlled substances, 3.4 oz methamphetamine, 1.89 oz cannabis, drug packaging equipment and a firearm.
