MARION – Three people were injured in a Sunday afternoon crash in Williamson County. According to Illinois State Police, around 4:50 p.m., 33-year-old Mallory J. Wright of Creal Springs was driving her SUV north on Illinois 166 at Atlanta Lane as 65-year-old Karolyn S. Graff of Marion and 52-year-old Sarah L. Fry of Ozark were both driving their vehicles south on Illinois 166.

Wright crossed over the center line in her SUV and collided with Graff’s vehicle. Wright continued to travel off the roadway and rolled over. Fry saw the accident and swerved off the roadway to the right to keep from crashing into Graff. Fry continued to travel off the roadway and collided into a tree. Wright and her two juvenile passengers were all taken to a local area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Graff along with her passenger, 68-year-old Daniel J. Graff of Marion, and Fry were not injured.

Wright was cited for Improper Lane Usage and Illegal Transportation of Alcohol.
