MARION COUNTY, IL — Bail has been set at $10,000 for a 50-year-old Salem woman accused in Marion County Court with battery of her mother. Marjorie Woodward is charged with Class 3 felony aggravated battery of a victim over the age of 60, as well as with misdemeanor resisting a peace officer.

Salem police arrested Woodward after they were called to a home in the 500 block of East Olive in Salem. Upon their arrival, officers reportedly found the two women fighting.
