JEFFERSON/MARION COUNTY, IL — Bail has been set at $200,000 for a 28-year-old Centralia man was arrested over the weekend on an outstanding warrant charging him unlawful delivery of under five grams of methamphetamine. Brandon Rogozinsky was taken into custody by the Marion County Jail where he remains.

Rogozinsky was released from the Jefferson County Jail on March 24 after posting $20,000 cash bond on a $200,000 bail set in a January 2021 case in that county. He was arrested in that case when the Mt. Vernon Police Department / Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit, assisted by the Southern Illinois Drug Task Force were conducting a surveillance operation in the 3300 block of Richview Road in rural Centralia. Rogozinsky is charged in the Jefferson County case with Class X felony possession of 15 – 100 grams of methamphetamine with the intent to deliver.

He’s scheduled to appear for a final pre-trial hearing April 20 in Jefferson County Court and is expected to be arraigned Monday in Marion County Court on the latest charge.
