HARRISBURG — The Harrisburg City Council has an active agenda Thursday night for their city council meeting.

The council will have a public hearing and will discuss and possibly act on the vacation of two alleys, sending the tuck point project of city hall’s west wall out for bids, appoint an acting superintendent of the street, alley, and public property department, along with cemetery discussion.

The council will also look into and possibly approve a contract for a VOIP phone system, fire department captain training, and a possible mobile home permit on Texas Street.

The public hearing will start at 5:45 and the meeting will start at 6 p.m. at Harrisburg City Hall.
